Principle of the Assay
This innovative test is based on a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The device features a testing window for real-time observation of the assay process and result interpretation. Before the assay, the testing window displays invisible T (test) and C (control) zones. Upon application of the treated sample into the sample hole, the liquid flows laterally across the test strip, interacting with pre-coated monoclonal antibodies. If CDV antigen is present in the specimen, a visible T line will appear. The C line should always appear post-sample application, ensuring a valid result.
